WCC to Host Henry Kissinger at Annual President’s Forum
Westchester Community College’s annual President’s Forum event, Building a World Order: Strategies and Tactics, with former Secretary of State Dr. Henry A. Kissinger (above) and former Deputy Secretary of State William J. Burns will take place on Sunday, November 15. The event begins at 7 pm in the Academic Arts Theatre. The noted speakers will answer such questions as: How best do we build a global architecture of security and cooperation? Can we learn from crucial episodes in recent conflicts and world history? Moderating the event is Lester Crystal, longtime executive producer of the PBS NewsHour and former President of MacNeil Lehrer Productions. The President’s Forum, a fundraising event for student scholarships and faculty and institutional development, has been presented by the college’s Foundation for the past 30 years. Former Bush Press Secretary Ari Fleischer To Speak in Tarrytown
To get Ari Fleischer’s insider’s view of the politics and policies that shape our national debate, head to the Westchester Marriott Hotel in Tarrytown on November 18. Fleischer, a Pound Ridge native and former White House press secretary for President George W. Bush, will share his insight on politics as part of an event sponsored by Sterling National Bank.
