Downtown New Rochelle introduces another residential building — with a spin room and dog washing station — to its ever-growing skyline.
Motif, a 172-unit, seven-story residential building, has officially opened its doors to residents as of last month. BRP Companies, a New York-based real estate firm, was the one to announce the grand opening of the building, which started its construction in July 2020.
Located at 10 Commerce Drive, Motif boasts a state-of-the-art fitness center with attached yoga and spin room, a resident lounge, co-working space, and courtyard with grills, among other amenities. Plus, the building is dog-friendly and has an onsite dog washing station.

The building has 53 studios, 64 one-bedrooms, and 55 two-bedrooms. They all house in-unit washers and dryers, quartz countertops, GE appliances, and premium Kohler fixtures. Taking a look at monthly rent, a studio starts at $1,925, a one-bedroom at $2,455, and a two-bedroom at $3,610.
Located in the heart of historic Downtown New Rochelle, Motif is in proximity to ample restaurants and shops. For commuters and frequent travelers, the building has quick access to the Metro-North, Amtrak, and bus routes.
