Miles J. Harvey is a 25-year-old actor and Peekskill resident whose IMDb filmography includes The Babysitter, The Cobbler, Supercool, The Dinner, and earlier voice acting work. The northern Westchester local has been acting professionally since he was eight years old, with his latest project Riff Raff premiering this Thursday, February 28.
Prior to Harvey’s debut on the big screen alongside Hollywood’s own, he began honing his craft at local theater companies and onstage at Peekskill High School. He first stepped foot in front of an audience at Yorktown Stage, acting in several plays and spending summers going to the company’s theater camp.
“That’s where I really got my big start and my big auditions; I learned all of that at Yorktown Stage,” notes Harvey, who, in his adolescent years, was also part of The Wiz Kidz, a youth performance troupe in Peekskill.

After working in commercials and doing voiceover acting, Harvey landed his first TV gig at nine years old on the long-running TV drama series Law and Order. He knew acting would be in the cards at an early age, but one experience in his early teens solidified the deal. That was when 12-year-old Harvey acted in a New York University student’s film and saw himself on the big screen for the first time, accompanied by laughter from the crowded theater once he delivered his lines.
“That moment was when I really thought, ‘Yeah, I could keep doing this,’” he reminisces.

In this production, Harvey acted alongside a handful of big names in the film industry and pop culture alike, including Jennifer Coolidge, Pete Davidson, and Bill Murray.
