Several major business events are on the docket in Westchester this autumn.

BCW’s Evening Networking Reception

On September 6 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., the Business Council of Westchester’s Fall 2017 Evening Networking Reception will take place at 975 Anderson Hill Road in Rye Brook. The event will provide an opportunity to mix, mingle, and network with current and future Business Council members all while enjoying hors d’oeuvres and cocktails.  Doral Arrowwood will host the event. Admission is $35 for members and $45 for future members.

 

New York State Attorney General Eric T. Schneiderman Leads BCW’s Political Leadership Series

On Thursday, September 14, New York’s top law enforcement official Attorney General Eric T. Schneiderman will kick off the Business Council of Westchester’s Fall Political Leadership Series. Discussions will include an update on the critical issues facing New Yorkers and his office’s key priorities as well as the role he plays in dealing with the Trump Administration’ policies and agenda. The event will take place at the 5th floor theater at 800 Westchester Avenue in Rye Brook from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Admission is $25 for members and $30 for future members.

The Attraction Factor: What Drives the Chemistry, Culture & Cohesion of Today’s Successful Workplace.

This year, Attraction Factor is set to take place at Manhattanville College located at 2900 Purchase St. in Purchase on September 19 from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The event will be moderated by U.S. Regional Director, Sheila Appel and hosted by Manhattanville College’s School of Business.  Admission is $55 for members and $65 for future members.

 

914INC.’s 2017 Small Business Awards

Fifteen of Westchester’s most innovative and successful small businesses will be honored during this annual event on September 28 at The Crown Plaza in White Plains from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Guests are invited to mix, mingle and network with Westchester’s most successful small business owners during this well-attended cocktail party. Single tickets cost $25 and can be purchased here.

3rd Annual Connections for Success Summit

Westchester County Executive Robert P. Astorino and Putnam County Executive MaryEllen Odell will host the third annual Connections for Success Summit on September 28 from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Tarrytown. Hosted by the Westchester County African American Advisory Board in conjunction with the Westchester-Putnam Workforce Development Board, the summit will focus on overcoming day-to-day issues in finance, accounting, sales, marketing, and human resource management for small businesses and entrepreneurs.

This is event is set to take place on Friday, September 29, 2017 from 8:00am to 9:40am at the Crowne Plaza located on 66 Hale Avenue in White Plains. Admission is $30 for members and $40 for future members.

 

CyberStorm-Cybersecurity in Business: Emerging Threats & Innovative Solutions

This event is set to take place on Friday, October 6, 2017 from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Pace University located at 861 Bedford Road, Pleasantville NY, 10570. Early bird tickets are available for $75 until September 15. Those going must use entrance 1 for the even will be held in Willcox Hall.

Health Tech ‘17

BCW Fall Annual Dinner

The Business Council of Westchester’s annual fall dinner will be held on November 20 from 5:30pm to 9:00pm at the Hilton Westchester, located at 699 Westchester Avenue in Rye Brook,.  The event will be featuring the honorable Hillary Rodham Clinton. Admission is $315 for members and $415 for future members. Bronze Sponsor tickets with VIP seating are $5,000, Premier Table tickets with premier seating at set at $3750, and Preferred Table tickets with preferred seating are $3250.
