Before Westchester had one of the country’s fastest-growing biotech sectors, it had Larry Gottlieb, who was cheerleading and maneuvering for that growth to happen.
In his role as the county’s director of economic development (from 2010 to 2013), he was instrumental in incentivizing biotech companies to stay, expand, and relocate to Westchester, and he played an important role in creating NY BioHud Valley, an organization dedicated to promoting the growing cluster throughout the Hudson Valley.
Today, as CEO of the Hudson Valley Economic Development Corporation, Gottlieb is expanding his focus, creating market-redefining awareness campaigns around our burgeoning sectors in food and beverage (Hudson Valley Food and Beverage Alliance) and 3D printing (HV3D).
