Katonah’s reputation as being a vortex for the healing arts just got a bit more cred with the September opening of Intentional Wellness & Yoga Center (173 Katonah Ave 914-414-0078; intentionalwellnessandyogacenter.com). Founded by Waccabuc resident Susan Kullman, the center offers a full schedule of activities: yoga for adults at all levels, along with kids, teen, and family yoga classes; meditation; Pilates; and wellness services including Kullman’s Bodyology System, a holistic weight-loss program. You can also sign up for ballroom dancing classes, restorative and therapeutic bodywork, holistic nutrition programs, and personal/health-development coaching. There are energy healers on staff, too, in case your chakras need balancing. The studio will also offer a wide range of health and well-being workshops like posture clinics, yoga for riders, and eating for energy. “It is so important to clear out the static,” Kullman says. “Then your body will tell you what it needs.”
