New York Governor Andrew Cuomo will deliver a speech with the Westchester County Association later today.
He is expected to discuss the state’s 2014 budget, his agenda on taxes, the economy, and ideas on how to make New York friendlier towards entrepreneurs and businesses.
“We’re thrilled to be hosting the Governor in Westchester County, and look forward to collaborating with the Governor on revitalizing our economy and supporting job growth across the region, particularly in the health tech sector—a rapidly growing industry in Westchester County,” said WCA President William M. Mooney Jr. “He has done a tremendous job for the State of New York, and we are eager to hear more about his budget and plans to renew economic prosperity in the region.”
According to the WCA, this will be the governor’s only budget address to the Westchester County business community.
“We’re very excited to host the Governor and create this opportunity for Westchester’s business community,” said Marissa Brett, WCA’s executive director of economic development.
The address will be hosted at the Westchester Marriott in Tarrytown. Doors will open at 9:30 am. The WCA is not accepting walk-ins or registration at the door. You can call ahead to register at (914) 948-6444
