The Center takes a look at the groundbreaking films of indie director Shirley Clarke, including Portrait of Jason (September 19, with presentation on Milestone Films), The Connection (September 20), Robert Frost: A Lover’s Quarrel with the World (September 21), and Ornette: Made in America      (September 22).

September 11: NYFF  Gold: A 50th Anniversary Collection, with Kent Jones, Richard Pena, and Joanne Koch

September 15: Rosewood, with Jonathan Demme as part of his “Rarely Seen Cinema” series

September 25: Symphony of the Soil, with Dan Barber, Deborah Koons Garcia, and Jacob Burns Executive Director Steve Apkon, along with a food-tasting reception with Pleasantville Farmer’s Market vendors and wines from the Wine Enthusiast
