The Trump Golf Links at Ferry Point officially opened yesterday with the help of Donald himself and golf legend Jack Nicklaus.
The course, which is right by the Whitestone Bridge, is officially a public joint, but Trump and Nicklaus expect to host worldwide golfing events like the PGA Tour and other major tournaments. Nicklaus, who is widely considered one of the best golfers ever to live—as you probably know by now—was the course architect and designer. According to The Daily News, the course plays 7,500 yards.
And though it’s just opened, there already appears to have been some quality golf play on the course, too. Ivanka Trump, Donald’s daughter, was on hand, and, despite what you’d expect when someone tries to drive a golf ball wearing a sun-dress and high heels, put us all to shame with a pro-like swing.
