Reliable access to healthcare providers is both a comfort and a necessity for many Westchesterites. As self-service digital tools take flight in sectors from banking to transportation, convenient mobile access has become a modern must. Responding to this trend, Westmed Medical Group is leading the way with their new mobile app, Universe mHealth Platform, and their online Patient Portal 2.0.
The browser-based Bridge Patient Portal 2.0 and the mobile Universe mHealth Platform app are designed to give patients constant access to their health information. “Patients can log in to book appointments, pay bills, message their providers, view medical records, refill prescriptions — and much more — all within a single, user-friendly platform,” explains John Deutsch, Bridge Patient Portal’s CEO and founder.
“We have designed these digital platforms to enable patients to participate more actively in their healthcare,” said Anthony Viceroy, Westmed’s CEO. “Convenient features like online appointment scheduling and secure messaging with physicians were built in to help patients stay connected with their health, and with the care they receive from Westmed.”
Westmed is a Purchase-based multispecialty group medical practice with offices in White Plains, Rye, Yonkers, Purchase, Scarsdale, and New Rochelle. The award-winning practice places emphasis on convenient and comprehensive care.
The beta release of the Patient Portal and mobile app went live in mid-October and the platform was officially released in December. The system’s complex design required a great deal of post-launch development, and Westmed representatives say the platform will continue to grow and improve.
The app is available now for both iOS and Android devices.
