IBM's Craig Gentry Of Yorktown Heights Is A MacArthur Foundation “Genius”

A Westchester cryptographer working for IBM caught the MacArthur Foundation’s attention for his work on fully homomorphic encryption.

The Fellowship comes at a time when Gentry says he still has plenty of ideas on what to do next. He added, “I view the Fellowship as validating me and my approach to research, that I investigate what I’m interested in.”
