How to Get The Most Out Of Playland

Whether you plan to visit Playland once or once a week this summer, you’ll want to maximize your fun. Wanna beat the crowds? Head to the park before the last week of June, if possible—and, of course, weekdays are less crowded than weekends, so it might pay to take a day off to bring the family. To give your wallet a break, Westchester residents can get a season pass for $80, and a spectator pass (no rides) is free. And Westchester residents always get a $5 discount on daily admission. After hitting all the favorites—Kiddyland, Dragon Coaster, Derby Racer, Log Flume, Gondola Wheel—stay for daily entertainment shows; fireworks every Wednesday and Friday starting in July; and a packed lineup of concerts, plus the beach and boardwalk.  • 100 Playland Pkwy, Rye (914) 813-7010; www.ryeplayland.org
