Hott Blow Dry Bar & Lounge (Rye Ridge Shopping Center, S Ridge St and Bowman Ave, Rye Brook, 914-468-7300; www.ryeridgeshoppingcenter.com) is expected to open in early 2015 in the space vacated by Pink on the Plaza, which closed in October.
There’s another location of Hott Blow Dry Bar & Lounge in Armonk (402 Main St, 914-273-0020; www.hottblowdry.com); the salon specializes in blowouts and makeup application. The new branch will offer keratin treatments and hair extensions, and will be open daily.
Erin Hinchey, leasing agent for the Rye Ridge Shopping Center notes, “Our shoppers have indicated to us many times that they would love the convenience of a blow-dry bar at the center. It fits in with their busy lifestyle and is a great option after working out.”
Pink on the Plaza’s sister store Pink on Palmer, specializing in cosmetics and small accessories, is still open at 1907 Palmer Avenue in Larchmont (914-833-8955;
