Hit These Westchester Stores for Kids’ Clothing, Gifts, and More

At its core, All Together Now (53 S Moger Ave, Mount Kisco) is a multi-purpose space. Open since November 2018, shoppers can search for books, toys, and clothing for infants through age 10 — all while the little ones play in the hand-built camper van, draw on the chalkboard wall, or have fun with an assortment of toys left out in the back of the store. Another back-of-store perk? Owner Robin Eden’s studio space, where customers can book a photography session or come in for a weekly yoga or music class. All Together Now stocks unique items, like the MukikiM Rock And Roll It Drum ($75), a drum kit that rolls up and, thankfully, comes with headphones.

Hip-Kid (77 S Greeley Ave, Chappaqua) offers bright toys and clothing for boys and girls from infant to 16 years old and includes a toy lounge, with a premium on social responsibility. “We drive our vendors crazy confirming the products we stock are ethically manufactured, organic, or make charitable donations,” says co-owner Trish Kallman. Favorite items include Make & Give craft boxes ($18), where kids can make presents to give to their friends and family.

Wyatt Lily (1 Chase Rd, Scarsdale), owned by TV correspondent Rachel Uchitel, offers a beautifully curated selection that specializes in unique gifts, trendy clothing, and accessories for the youngest fashionista. Shoppers can monogram their purchases with glitter letters onsite or buy exclusive items from the store’s signature line. An item flying off the shelves? Couture Clip’s tutu diaper cover for $19.

With two stores, three GÅms (15 Purchase St, Rye; 2005 Palmer Ave, Larchmont) is the place to go for hard-to-find collectable figurines, art toys, and high-tech office supplies for kids and parents alike. The owners regularly travel the world to find Anime-inspired plush toys, figures, and unique giftable items. A favorite for all ages is Uni-Ball’s Kuru Toga ($6.99-$13.99), a mechanical pencil that spins automatically as you write, so you always have a sharp point for even thickness and color. An e-commerce site exclusively, Unique Finds for Kids is the brainchild of New Rochelle’s Yolonda Ayo. The site’s carefully curated selection of outerwear, tops, bottoms, and accessories will allow little ones to express their personal style at an affordable price. Ayo’s favorite is a faux-suede dress from MIA New York for $76.50.Concerned about the materials in your child’s clothing? Head to Sammy + Nat (88 Purchase St, Rye) for their line of ethically sourced cotton separates. Worn by children of celebrities, like Kourtney Kardashian and Alec Baldwin, the line comes in classic infant silhouettes that are easy to mix and match, made with hand-cultivated cotton from Peru. Hats and baby blankets round out the simple-yet-beautiful line. The Bold Star Pajama Set for $48 makes for a dynamic outfit.
