So you didn’t get a chance to work with the HGTV co-hosts, Jonathan and Drew Scott during their short stay in Westchester last spring, huh?
Fret not! As soon as the duo left, they decided to come back; the Property Brothers are returning to Westchester County in 2016 to film the sixth season of their HGTV series.
In the fall, we looked at three local properties the Scott brothers featured in their fifth season; two of which were used as “dream homes,” to show homeowners what their abodes could look like after a Property Brothers overhaul. We even saw the work of Rye-based designer Brittany Zachos come to life in a Chappaqua residence.

Now, the co-hosts are seeking Westchester and Connecticut homeowners who are planning to buy and renovate a “fixer-upper” in the local area. Of course, there are some conditions that must be met to be eligible. Primarily, you must be within 40 minutes of White Plains, NY, and be available for up to 10 weekdays of filming, over a six to seven week period. Additionally, homeowners must have a renovation budget of $100,000, up from the $60,000 budget seen in previous seasons.
Among these and other restrictions, there are benefits to make up for the cost of renovation; there will be $20,000 put towards the project, free expert design advice, and three to four completely renovated rooms.
