Lest we forget: one in five Westchester residents are hungry or at risk of being so, and one-third of those 200,000 people are children. On Thursday, October 16, the Food Bank for Westchester, one of eight regional food banks in New York State (and home to Westchester’s largest refrigerator), will host its 24th annual Evening in Good Taste, proceeds from which go directly to children’s food distribution programs. Enjoy tastings from more than 20 local restaurants, including Moderne Barn, L’inizio, Café of Love, and Equus, with drinks from Prohibition Distillery, Yonkers Brewing Company, Slovenia Vodka, Captain Lawrence Brewing Company, and others, plus a silent auction and the company of about 700 other guests.
