Just like us, our homes need a periodic refreshing and resetting,” says feng shui master Donna Thompson of Healing Interiors in Dobbs Ferry. To do this, Thompson offers the following suggestions:
1. Reset the Template: When you want to anchor a mental shift or a new habit, start moving furniture and objects around in your home.
2. Clear Clutter: Shift your home’s energy by donating what you no longer need “with a feeling of love and gratitude toward the objects and toward yourself, for sharing your wealth.”
3. Support Yourself Physically: While clearing and resetting, be sure to stay hydrated, use essential-oil fragrances, play instrumental music, and relax.
