Blue Tulip has become the chocolate-y jewel of Purchase Street since opening in Rye in 2013. Offering a wide variety of chocolates and treats, owner and Harrison resident Diane Holland brings a little slice of chic European style to this small city. With the holidays upon us, there is no better place to find something to fill a stocking or satisfy a sweet tooth.
Special for the season is a collection of holiday-themed goodies that are sure to put a smile on anyone’s face. There are a wide variety of chocolate figurines, taking the shapes of jolly Santas, smiling nutcrackers, and pointy Christmas trees. There are chocolate advent calendars, available with the option of fresh refills halfway through, and decadent chocolate stir pops, capable of changing a glass of plain hot milk into a delicious chocolate beverage to warm you up on the cold winter nights. There are also loads of treats for Hanukkah as well, more than enough to fill up one (or more) of those eight nights.
In addition to the holiday selection, Blue Tulip’s offerings have grown to an amazing selection of more than 50 different kinds of bon bons and truffles, including such flavors as crème brûlée, coffee caramel, salted banana, and cardamom ganache. When you stop in, make sure not to pass up their Belgium hot chocolate for a memorable rich treat.
