Your pets will love you fur-ever if you take them to Woof Gang Bakery this weekend. A national pet retail and grooming service, Woof Gang Bakery is celebrating the grand opening of New York State’s first franchise in Rye on Saturday, May 19.
With over 100 locations nationwide, the grooming and retail spot was named tenth largest retailer by Pet Business Media this year. The Rye location will offer professional pet grooming, healthy pet foods, gourmet baked treats, toys, supplies, and accessories.
Scarsdale resident Debra Love is the owner of Westchester’s franchise. She moved here from Los Angeles to pursue a career in the pet industry. She says, “The first time I was in Rye I fell in love with the small town feel. When I saw the number of dogs walking the streets, I knew it was the perfect home for Woof Gang Bakery.”
An animal lover, Love owns two English Bulldogs and a box turtle. She says, ‘”I did a lot of research before coming across Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming and their philosophy and concept aligned with my own vision. I wanted to open a pet boutique that was upscale and provided pet owners with healthy foods and quality products, since that is how I care for my own pets.”
She continued, “My approach is to make all my customers and their pets feel welcome in my store and provide them with exceptional customer service, and helpful information about our products and services.”
At the grand opening, three local pet rescue organizations — Wagging Tails Dog Rescue, Short Noses Only Rescue Team, and Pet Rescue NY — will be on site with adoptable animals for prospective pet parents.
The grand opening will take place at the new location, 62 Purchase St, Rye from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
The first 20 dogs in the store will win free Woof Gang Bakery gourmet treats for a year. Additional giveaways will include complimentary pet food samples, pet treats, door prizes and photos by Tischman Pets Photography.
