Excited for the start of the season in Westchester? Here’s what to know before you cruise on over to your favorite golf courses.

Westchester Hills Renovation Nearly Complete

Members and guests at Westchester Hills are playing an almost new and substantially updated golf course this spring. The Rees Jones-led renovation of Westchester Hills made major progress over the winter months, with work completed on nearly every hole on the course. In addition to extensive irrigation, drainage, and bunker work, greens and surrounds received major attention, with many of the small, hard-to-hold greens expanded and rings of tough rough around them replaced by more interesting closely mown collection areas. The goal of the renovation, according to General Manager Josh Lowney, was to deepen the playing experience for better golfers while making the game more accessible for more casual players.
