Get Clean—Help Fight HIV/AIDS

Peekskill-based Crater Lake Company, a luxury bath and skincare line, is donating 20 percent of profits from the sale of its Zambian Coffee Body Scrub to Camfed, an organization that fights poverty and HIV/AIDS in South African nations. Founder Sharonn Itliong moved to Zambia from the Philippines when she was six years old. “This is my way of giving back to the country that holds such fond childhood memories for me,” she says. The scrub is a blend of shea butter, soybean and coconut oils, cane sugar, essential oils, and authentic Zambian coffee, making it smell amazing. What a way to get your morning jolt of joe! Available locally at Nirvana Day Spa (1075 Washington St, Peekskill, 914-734-1150) and Tranquil Spirit Day Spa & Salon (561 Main St, New Rochelle, 914-235-1432) or www.craterlakecompany.com for $19.95.
