Armonk is a town where drinking options — farm-to-glass cocktails at Restaurant North, the swanky bar at Moderne Barn, the Under $15 table at Wine Geeks — are pretty lit. But, they just got better.
One of Rosner’s top picks for summe, this Rhone-style blend is a perfect pairing for grilled meats.
Armonk Wine & Spirits just reopened under new ownership, and free tastings are part of the store’s new policies. “We are excited to offer free wine tastings every day,” says store manager and Armonk resident Nancy Oster Rosner, whose family took ownership of the store earlier this year. On any given day, the store will offer at least four bottles for sampling and wine education. The space will also be available for private tastings.

Like what you’re tasting? Buy a bottle and you’ll always know what it was. “We offer a free service to track customers’ purchases,” says Rosner. “Often, customers come in looking for a wine that they have bought in the past but aren’t able to remember the name. We are happy to take care of convenience for them.” Want something that’s not in stock? The store is more than willing to help you track it down.
“My great-grandfather owned a wine store in Manhattan for many years. It’s something that has stayed in the family,” adds Rosner. “Armonk has always been a wonderful community, and I’m thrilled to be part of Main Street.”
