Dad’s always had his own style (faded tees and boat shoes are a style of sorts), but between raising the kids, putting dinner on the table, and walking uphill in snow both ways, a few of the finer things, like personal grooming past mouthwash and deodorant, slipped by.
One thing he, or hubby, probably hasn’t treated himself to since his bachelor days, or ever, is an old-fashioned shave. A suds-less job with a throwaway razor might help him cope with the frequency of 10-and-under ballet recitals in his life, but even the manliest of men will start whistling when tasked with shaping and conditioning his own scruff.

More swank than yet another grill tool (one can only have so many metal spatulas), go the extra mile (he always did, right?) and add on a service from the Barber Spa, like a 45-minute Royal Shave or mustache or goatee trim.
Try not to squirm when Mom can’t get over him all cleaned up.
