Fall is by far one of our favorite times to live in the Hudson Valley, as the rays of sun stream through spotty clouds onto the mottled faces on winding mountains. What we are not as fond of is the leaf-peepers hopping the Metro-North up from the city, clogging up our downtown train stations and having the gall to refer to Westchester as “Upstate.” (Some people….)
Still, we can’t even be mad at them. Westchester really does have some of the most beautiful scenery in the country, and who better to know all the perfect, out-of-the-way spots than our own residents? While the bulk of our local leaves may have made their grand descent to the ground by this point in the year, there’s nothing like reminiscing on the beauty of the season with a few perfectly captured photos. Scroll on to see some of our favorite fall foliage snaps from our finest Instagram followers in and around Westchester.
