The annual Elinor Martin Residence for Mother & Child Starfish Gala attracted 125 guests at $350 per ticket to the Glen Island Harbour Club. Kathy and Jeff Wiegand of New Rochelle and the Trinity Men’s Local Social Outreach of Trinity Church in Greenwich, Connecticut, were honored for their ongoing support.
The evening raised approximately $60,000.
Cocktails and dinner were served from 6:30 to 8:30; the program began afterward and included a silent auction and raffle. The Jim Clark Quartet provided music.
Proceeds from the gala support the New Rochelle-based Elinor Martin Residence for Mother & Child, a safe haven for pregnant and parenting women who are faced with uncertain futures after the birth of their children. The residential program offers emotional, spiritual, and material resources that prepare mothers and babies for the transition to independent living.
