Take Easter Dinner and Passover Seder To-Go With These Carry-out Deals

Whether you’re Jewish, Protestant, Catholic, or Eastern Orthodox, we’ve got the Westchester restaurants you’ll want for a cooking-free holiday menu!

Even if you can’t celebrate the holidays this spring with a big family get-together, that doesn’t mean you have to make an extra grocery run just to do all that cooking for only your household.

We’ve rounded up some of the best holiday menus you can order in advance and carry out to still get all those home-cooked feels without any of the worry or cleanup.

Passover — April 8-16

Ben’s Kosher Delicatessen Restaurant

While it’s not up to kosher snuff for the more conservative Passover guidelines, for a simple holiday meal with the family Ben’s is perfect. Packages are available for carry-out on April 8 and includes a complete holiday dinner for up to 10 — meaning a family of five could eat very well — and range from $349.90 to $379.90 depending on if you select roast chicken, turkey, or brisket as your entrée.

Each package also includes gefilte fish, chopped liver, chicken soup with matzo balls, cranberry-pineapple compote, cole slaw, carrot tsimmes, fruit salad, and a choice of two sides: broccoli almondine, matzo farfel & mushrooms, parsley red potatoes, sweet potato pudding, and potato pudding.

Smaller packages for the less hungry, as well as ceremonial plates and add-ons are also available.

Eden Wok

The Tri-state area’s first Glatt Kosher Asian fusion restaurant is always a favorite around the holidays. The Rare Bit

Known for their Sunday Roast, the team at The Rare Bit is whipping up a $100 Passover Special that serves 4 to 6 people. The meal includes brisket braise din onions and tomatoes with pan-fried latkes and braised carrots. (Available for curbside pickup and local delivery only on Wednesday, April 8.)

Easter — April 12 (Orthodox April 19)

273 Kitchen

273 is offering a family box at their Harrison location — as well as their sister site 8 North Broadway for your upstate relatives. Each box is $55 and includes a slow-roasted lamb shank, Greek olive oil mashed potatoes, braised greens, Greek salad, tzatziki, pita, grape leaves, and baklava, and feeds 4 to 6 people. (Add a whole roasted chicken for an extra $20.)

Optional wines are available for $20 per bottle, and the box is available for both Western and Orthodox Easter. (Order by 2 p.m. Saturday, April 11 and April 18 for Sunday pickup from noon until 5 p.m.)

The Cookery

The Cookery is bringing back their typically big Easter celebrant menu, albeit packaged a little bit differently this year. The restaurant is offering a take-out menu of family style starters, pasta, mains, and dessert for pickup on Easter Sunday. Starters include fresh mozzarella by the pound ($12) with torn and charred house-made bread, olio novello, and vin cotto; white bean and kale soup (1qt $12, 2qt $22), Sunday salad ($45); and the Chef David DiBari’s famous Easter pie: a parmigiana shortcrust stuffed with ricotta, soppressata, and salami ($65). Pasta options include baked rigatoni ($50 or $95 for a half- or full-tray) and white lasagna with bechemel ($70/$130). Entrées include pork osso buco ($60/$110), holiday lamb pie with heirloom carrots and spiced yogurt ($65), heirloom meatballs ($60/$110), and a limited quantity of The Cookery’s equally famous whole suckling pig roast with brocoli rabe, goose fat potatoes, and pickled apples ($450). Citrus olive oil cake ($45) is also available for dessert, but we’ll always go with the chef’s “Stickabutta pie” ($55). (Order by 6 p.m. Friday, April 10.)

Chef Daniel Sabia’s flame-cooked catering company is rolling out a Family-Style Easter Sunday Dinner for $125 per person (4 person minimum). Each meal includes fresh-baked bread from Idyllwild Bread and desserts by T K Sweets of Westchester. Starters include smoked olive sourdough, spring crudité, hand-whipped burrata, and garlic braised chickpeas. Included entrées are hot smoked sea trout with burnt onion horseradish cream and slow roasted leg of lamb with smoked olive and mint salsa, while features sides are spring peas, ember-roasted carrots, and whole roasted cauliflower. Dessert features olive oil cake with lemon syrup and a chocolate cake with espresso ganache. (Order by Friday, April 10 for home delivery in Westchester and Putnam Counties on Sunday, April 12.)
