Take Easter Dinner and Passover Seder To-Go With These Carry-out Deals

Whether you’re Jewish, Protestant, Catholic, or Eastern Orthodox, we’ve got the Westchester restaurants you’ll want for a cooking-free holiday menu!

Even if you can’t celebrate the holidays this spring with a big family get-together, that doesn’t mean you have to make an extra grocery run just to do all that cooking for only your household.

We’ve rounded up some of the best holiday menus you can order in advance and carry out to still get all those home-cooked feels without any of the worry or cleanup.

Passover — April 8-16

Ben’s Kosher Delicatessen Restaurant

718 Central Park Ave, Scarsdale
While it’s not up to kosher snuff for the more conservative Passover guidelines, for a simple holiday meal with the family Ben’s is perfect. Packages are available for carry-out on April 8 and includes a complete holiday dinner for up to 10 — meaning a family of five could eat very well — and range from $349.90 to $379.90 depending on if you select roast chicken, turkey, or brisket as your entrée.

Each package also includes gefilte fish, chopped liver, chicken soup with matzo balls, cranberry-pineapple compote, cole slaw, carrot tsimmes, fruit salad, and a choice of two sides: broccoli almondine, matzo farfel & mushrooms, parsley red potatoes, sweet potato pudding, and potato pudding.

Smaller packages for the less hungry, as well as ceremonial plates and add-ons are also available.

Eden Wok

1327 North Ave, New Rochelle
The Tri-state area’s first Glatt Kosher Asian fusion restaurant is always a favorite around the holidays. The site will be offering delivery and carry-out of Passover specials on April 7 and 8 including five different types of soup, fish by the pound, chicken, beef, turkey, cholent, kugel, cabbage, tons of veggies, and extras like a Seder plate and charoset! (Minimum $200 order.)

Epstein’s of Hartsdale

387 North Central Ave, Hartsdale
Epstein’s has brought back their classic 5-course Seder dinner for local delivery and take-out April 8 through April 16. At just $26.99 per person, the dinner includes matzo, tsimmes, pickles and cole slaw with your choice of soup, appetizer, entrée, beverage, dessert, and two sides, all kashruth certified!

Ibiza Kitchen

76 King St, Chappaqua
Order by April 7 for this carry-out dinner on April 8 and 9 that serves four to six people for only $136 (plus tax).

The menu includes matzo ball soup, gefilte fish, salad, a choice of entrées — organic roast chicken, slow-cooked brisket, of grilled Faroe Island salmon with saffron milk sauce — two sides of kugel, roasted Brussels sprouts, carrots, asparagus, cauliflower, or sweet potatoes, and dessert of hazelnut almond nougat and a flourless chocolate tart.

Le Jardin Du Roi

95 King St, Chappaqua
The French bistro is serving up a combines Passover/Easter menu for carry-out. Brisket, chicken, salmon, ribs, and pulled chicken are all available by the half- and full-tray, as are salads and roasted veggies and triple-chocolate brownies. The smaller trays should feed 8 to 10 people, while the larger trays feed 18 to 20.

The Rare Bit

23 Cedar St, Dobbs Ferry
Known for their Sunday Roast, the team at The Rare Bit is whipping up a $100 Passover Special that serves 4 to 6 people. The meal includes brisket braise din onions and tomatoes with pan-fried latkes and braised carrots. (Available for curbside pickup and local delivery only on Wednesday, April 8.)

Easter — April 12 (Orthodox April 19)

273 Kitchen

273 Halstead Ave, Harrison
273 is offering a family box at their Harrison location — as well as their sister site 8 North Broadway for your upstate relatives. Each box is $55 and includes a slow-roasted lamb shank, Greek olive oil mashed potatoes, braised greens, Greek salad, tzatziki, pita, grape leaves, and baklava, and feeds 4 to 6 people. (Add a whole roasted chicken for an extra $20.)

Optional wines are available for $20 per bottle, and the box is available for both Western and Orthodox Easter. (Order by 2 p.m. Saturday, April 11 and April 18 for Sunday pickup from noon until 5 p.m.)


Boro6 Wine Bar

549 Warburton Ave, Hastings-on-Hudson
Boro6 is offering Easter Brunch Boxes for pickup and rivertowns delivery at $35 per person. Each features house-cured gravlax, your choice of bagel with cream cheese, capers, red onion, and lemon, a pint of soup, roasted carrot salad, olive oil citrus cake for dessert, and a toasted baguette.

Each also gets a decorated hard boiled Easter egg and your choice of a 12oz. bloody Mary, mimosa, bellini, or orange juice. (Order by 5 p.m. April 9.)


Bread & Brine

19 Main St, Hastings-on-Hudson
This seafood-centric locale is serving steamed Main lobster dinners for $45. Each featured 1.25lb. of lobster, a cup of New England clam chowder, grilled cor bread, cole slaw, potatoes, and corn on the cob. (Place orders by 4 p.m. on Wednesday, April 8 for Friday, Saturday, or Sunday pickup.)


The Cookery

39 Chestnut St, Dobbs Ferry
The Cookery is bringing back their typically big Easter celebrant menu, albeit packaged a little bit differently this year. The restaurant is offering a take-out menu of family style starters, pasta, mains, and dessert for pickup on Easter Sunday. Starters include fresh mozzarella by the pound ($12) with torn and charred house-made bread, olio novello, and vin cotto; white bean and kale soup (1qt $12, 2qt $22), Sunday salad ($45); and the Chef David DiBari’s famous Easter pie: a parmigiana shortcrust stuffed with ricotta, soppressata, and salami ($65). Pasta options include baked rigatoni ($50 or $95 for a half- or full-tray) and white lasagna with bechemel ($70/$130). Entrées include pork osso buco ($60/$110), holiday lamb pie with heirloom carrots and spiced yogurt ($65), heirloom meatballs ($60/$110), and a limited quantity of The Cookery’s equally famous whole suckling pig roast with brocoli rabe, goose fat potatoes, and pickled apples ($450). Citrus olive oil cake ($45) is also available for dessert, but we’ll always go with the chef’s “Stickabutta pie” ($55). (Order by 6 p.m. Friday, April 10.)

Divino Cuccina Italiana

540 Warburton Ave, Hastings-on-Hudson
Also in Hastings, Divino is offering to cook your family style meal themselves. Including a boneless leg of lamb, lemon potatoes, sautéed green beans, house salad, carrot cake for dessert and a whole bottle of house wine, the meal easily feeds 4 to 6 people and costs $150. (Order by 2 p.m. April 9.)

Gigante Restaurant & Bar

660 White Plains Rd, Eastchester
Keep it romantic with Gigante’s Easter Dinner for Two: spring mesclun salad, garlic-roasted leg of lamb with marble potatoes and buttered French beans, and a bottle or red or white wine for just $49. (Order by noon on April 9.)

Hudson Social

11 Station Plaza, Dobbs Ferry
Hudson Social is providing an Easter Sunday take-out box that serves 4 to 6 people for $150. Mains include either maple-glazed Berkshire spiral ham of an herb-roasted leg of lamb, with a choice of two sides (red bliss potatoes, maple glazed sweet potatoes, sautéed string beans, baked mac & cheese, or salad), and a triple-layer carrot cake for dessert. (Order by 5 p.m. April 9 for pickup between noon and 1 p.m. on April 12.) 

Ibiza Kitchen

76 King St, Chappaqua
To complement its Passover offerings, Ibiza Kitchen has also prepared a $136 Easter Family Feast that feeds 4 to 6. Each feast sports cod fritters with romesco sauce, salad, potato and onion omelet, seafood salad, and a choice of baby lamb, roasted organic chicken, duck breast, or paella for the entrée.

Each also comes with two sides (either mustard mashed potatoes, bomba rice, sweet potato puree, asparagus, or mushrooms) and three desserts — hazelnut nougat, flan, and sponge cake with chocolate. (Order by 11 p.m. April 9. Regular take-out menu is also available.)


Le Jardin Du Roi

95 King St, Chappaqua

Maud’s Tavern

Another Hastings mainstay, Maud’s will be serving a la carte options including potato and cheese pierogi with grilled kielbasa, lamb stew with rosemary potatoes, asparagus and mushroom stuffed duck breast, roasted turkey, and vegetable shepherd’s pie, plus assorted desserts and chocolate Easter eggs in every order.

The Rare Bit

23 Cedar St, Dobbs Ferry
Not to leave anyone out, The Rare Bit is also offering an Easter Sunday menu.Specials include leg of lamb ($75), Greek pastitsio ($60), and beef Wellington ($100) while regular mains feature chicken tikka masala, shrimp & grits, seared salmon, and spaghetti with meatballs. All serve 4 to 6 people. Sides, salads, and the famous house pickled veggies are also available, as well as decadent desserts and 32oz craft cocktails! (Order by 3 p.m. April 9 for 1 p.m.-4 p.m. Sunday pickup.)

Wood Fire Food

Chef Daniel Sabia’s flame-cooked catering company is rolling out a Family-Style Easter Sunday Dinner for $125 per person (4 person minimum). Each meal includes fresh-baked bread from Idyllwild Bread and desserts by T K Sweets of Westchester. Starters include smoked olive sourdough, spring crudité, hand-whipped burrata, and garlic braised chickpeas. Included entrées are hot smoked sea trout with burnt onion horseradish cream and slow roasted leg of lamb with smoked olive and mint salsa, while features sides are spring peas, ember-roasted carrots, and whole roasted cauliflower. Dessert features olive oil cake with lemon syrup and a chocolate cake with espresso ganache. (Order by Friday, April 10 for home delivery in Westchester and Putnam Counties on Sunday, April 12.)
