Expert stylist Kendra Porter will spend an hour or two (at no cost!) and help you choose the perfect holiday outfit at Bloomingdale’s in White Plains. Porter, who has experience working with Stacy London of TLC’s What Not to Wear, says your holiday outfit should reflect your feelings.
“Choose colors like deep browns, reds, and greens, which signify warmth and commitment, for gatherings with loved ones. For menswear, go bold with texture or choose rich fabrics with a bit of sheen, like velvet. For womenswear, sequins and silks can be playful or sophisticated and will always stand out in a crowd.” Here, Porter styles two Westchester Magazine staffers — assistant editor Gina Valentino and digital managing editor Jonathan Ortiz.
