Shopping en plein air is a beautiful thing, and this weekend it’s Rye Brook’s turn to swing open its doors and roll out the garment racks, with a generous stable of trendy retailers participating in the Rye Ridge Shopping Center’s Annual Summer Sidewalk Sale.
Expect heavy discounts and giveaways at most shops, including those we’ve been loving lately, like Organic Pharmer (a healthy super-café after Gwyneth’s own heart); Domestic Dry Goods Company (where “Brooklyn-y” isn’t a bad thing); and newly relocated Lester’s (with all the good stuff that could be found at its former spot in Rye, including last-minute camp gear for the kiddies).
Not to mention: SoulCycle, Indigo Chic, Shoe Inn, Sportech, Mixology, Pink on the Plaza, and Lv2bfit. But, if nothing else, go for the mandatory fro-yo pick-me-up from Red Mango—icy, smooth, and sweet.
