Yesterday, even though it was St. Patty’s Day, it seemed it was Bloomingdale’s in White Plains and not the corner Irish bar that was getting much of the attention. There, many fashion-lovers (and who among us isn’t one?) showed up for a Denim & Diamonds spring fashion show. A live DJ (wearing green, of course) provided the music as The Professional Women of Westchester modeled the season’s latest trends and David’s Soundview Catering passed out sparkling cocktails and appetizers! “Denim and diamonds are a girl’s best friend,” Meryl Lefkowitz of Bloomingdale’s declared. Diamonds? Well, they’re our friends at whatever age. A portion of the proceeds raised are earmarked for the not-for-profit Girls Inc. of Westchester.
