The Beauty Box, a popular hair salon located in Rye, will be offering deeply discounted salon services on Sunday, March 6, from 10 am to 4 pm. All proceeds from this “cut-a-thon” will go toward Team Mateo, a team raising money for The Connecticut Westchester Hudson Valley Chapter of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, in honor of Mateo, a young boy with leukemia.
Prices during the cut-a-thon will be:
$30 for blowouts (regularly $40), $50 for cuts (regularly $85+), and $60 for single-process color (regularly starting at $120).
Gaynor Donelan, founder and owner of The Beauty Box, tells us that she’s happy to help with the cause. “As a mother of five healthy children, I consider myself extremely lucky,” she says, “and I feel compelled to show and share my gratitude by helping others.
