What’s more appropriate for a late spring wedding on the Sound than nautically inspired navy stripes and soft white flowers? We love the way Liz and Chris’ wedding at Coveleigh Club in Rye effortlessly imbued the stately main house with a laid-back beachy vibe. Even summer showers couldn’t ruin the day. They’re just another opportunity to get out on the boardwalk and have Melani Lust shoot some adorable under-an-umbrella photos.
From the bride: Chris and I met on eHarmony. We had gone back and forth on e-mail for so long that when we finally met in Grand Central, it was like we already knew each other. We both wanted a classic wedding with a nautical chic feel. Coveleigh Club was the perfect option because the mansion gave us that classic charm and the nautical/beach vibe we wanted.
