Regarding the video, Thunstrom explained, “We spent a few hours driving through different towns and neighborhoods taking random turns to see what we would discover. At some point while driving through Armonk we stumbled upon Byram Lake and everything suddenly felt so familiar to me even though I had never been there before. I grew up living on a lake that reminded me so much of it – it felt almost too perfect. I knew that we had to spend some time there and fit it into the video.
Zudeck added, “Our song ‘Too Late’ tells the story of a person who is desperately seeking to discover a more grounded version of themselves, guided by a sentimental longing for their happier past. We knew that we wanted this video to represent that and instantly knew that Westchester was the perfect place for us to create something that would portray that.”
Overhead shots of vibrant foliage and solo drives down tree-filled roads create a sense of meaning, solitude and self-acceptance. “Too Late” inspires listeners to listen to their hearts, search more, and find the hidden treasures in your environment.
