Here Are the Top Networking Events You Should Be at This Month

A Busy Lineup at Manhattanville College

Manhattanville College is offering several events in November. First, an event for those who want to know more about Internet safety takes place at Reid Castle on November 9 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The event, titled Cybersecurity: Readiness, Response, Recovery, will feature advice from experts on cyber awareness as well as prevention. (There is a registration fee of $30.  For more information about the event and how to register contact michele.braun@mville.edu 914-323-1238. ) An on-campus collaborative leadership workshop on November 10 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m will assess participants’ leadership skills. (The cost of the event is $250.) A Sports Business Career Fair on November 17 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. will feature 30 to 40 sports programs. Some of the well-known groups visiting will include ESPN, WFAN, NFL, Steiner Sports, NY Mets, NBC Sports and USTA. And, Manhattanville College’s Women’s Leadership Institute of will host an informational session about using LinkedIn on November 30 in Reid Castle’s East Library from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. (This session costs $30 to register. Sixth-Annual National Philanthropy Day Discussion

On November 14, the sixth annual National Philanthropy Day Discussion will take place at the Doubletree by Hilton in Tarrytown. Hosted by The Association of Fundraising Professionals Westchester Chapter, Tom Ahern, Simone P. Joyaux, AFRE, and Dr. Adrian Sargeant will teach six workshops and three programs concerning philanthropy.  Tickets can be purchased at afpwestcher.org. WCA’s Annual Fall Dinner

On November 16, the Westchester County Association will host their annual fall dinner at the Westchester Marriott Hotel in Tarrytown. The night will feature special guest speaker, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of RXR Realty LLC, Scott Rechler. Tickets are $300 for members, $350 for future members, and $2,700 for a table of 10.

Honor Westchester’s Most Successful Women In Business

914INC.’s 7th annual Women In Business luncheon — honoring 17 top female executives, entrepreneurs, and nonprofit and government leaders in Westchester — takes place on November 16 from 11:30 am to 2 pm at The Doubletree by Hilton Hotel in Tarrytown. Keynote speaker Kara DioGuardi, a Grammy nominated songwriter, former American Idol judge, producer and music publisher will share her insights as part of the luncheon. Hillary Clinton to Headline BCW Annual Dinner

The Business Council of Westchester will host its annual dinner on November 20, when the BCW will honor Chappaqua resident and former presidential candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton. The event will be held at the Hilton Westchester in Rye Brook from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tickets can be purchased by calling 914-948-2110.
