Flames Steakhouse Gets an Update (And We’re Happy to Report That Chef Peter Kelly Still Loves It)
One of the things that’s so magical about Chef Peter Kelly is that he is so supportive of other, potentially competitive businesses. Here’s what Chef Kelly had to say about Flames Bar and Grill in Briarcliff Manor, which just underwent a glamorous redesign that results in a modern, sleekly slatey interior: “I think it has beef that is most often as good as Peter Luger and the rest of the menu is way better. Flames is a very good Italian restaurant hidden in a steakhouse. For old school, well-made Italian there are few restaurants that are better. Flames buys the best quality and it shows.”
