You won’t find the acceptable, the mediocre, or even the decent in our 25th annual edition of celebrating the best of the 914. Instead, only the foremost places to shop, dine, drink, play, and luxuriate.
Readers had the opportunity to vote, too, producing 285 winning selections. More than 81,900 ballots were submitted to the online Readers’ Ballot from early December to mid-January. The top vote-getters advanced to an elimination round that ran from mid-February to early March (when about 492,600 votes were tallied), resulting in the winners.
