By John Bruno Turiano, IIana Donna Arazie, Nick Brandi, Leslie-Anne Brill, Cristiana Caruso, Joe Cesarano, Maria Colaco, P.J. Correale, Andrew Dominick, Kayla Garritano, June Hersh, Geoff Kalish, Michelle Gillian Larkin, Leslie Long, Karen Odom, Erin O’Keefe, Maya Ono, Liz Susan Karp, Gina Valentino, Abbe Wichman, and Laurie Yarnell

Our county seems to shine brighter each year — and how could it not, with so many extraordinary people, places, and things that make the 914 an exceptional place in which to dine, shop, play, explore, and flourish.

Our 23rd annual Best of Westchester issue celebrates 108 editors’ selections and 281 readers’ picks. To determine the latter, more than 87,000 votes were submitted to the online Readers’ Ballot from early December to the end of January, and those results yielded the top six votegetters, which moved to the elimination round in February, when approximately 469,000(!) more votes were tallied.
