An inside look at the brand-new 32,300-square-foot indoor attraction at Ridge Hill in Yonkers.
Lego lovers of all ages lined up early at Legoland Discovery Center Westchester on opening day at Ridge Hill in Yonkers. Luckily for parents, it was a sunny, early spring morning and the kids had plenty of room to run around, so no one got too antsy waiting for the grand-opening ceremony to begin. After speeches from Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino and Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano, the moment had finally arrived for the doors to open. And when they did, it was well worth the wait: The dazzling 32,300-square-foot indoor attraction featuring 3 million Lego bricks, rides, play and building areas, a 4D theater, a shop, and much more knocked the socks off of everyone.
