Yes, we know it’s a chain, but there is much to love at this Barnes & Noble concept store (the first ever and still one of only a handful in the U.S.). Books are the main attraction, and the layout — light, bright, and full of comfy seating — lures you in for a good read. But the store’s wow factor comes from the unexpected extras: a full restaurant, café and bar (more than 20 wines and craft beers on tap), plus outdoor area complete with firepits and a bocce court.
