After working as a celebrity stylist for years, Dana Fiore delivers Manhattan-quality hairstyling at Hair House in Westchester.
Westchester has a new pair of capable hands to trust your locks to. Hair House, the luxury boutique salon known for exquisite cuts and styling, has migrated from the Bronx, now calling downtown New Rochelle home. At the helm is owner Dana Fiore, who has spent more than 20 years in the hair industry, coming up in the competitive Manhattan marketplace and spending 17 years at the renowned Louis Licari salon. However, it was her time as a personal hairstylist that pushed Fiore to pursue her dream of owning her own business.
While carving her own path in the craft, Fiore worked as a celebrity hairstylist, most notably for TV host Katie Couric, whose hair she did daily for 15 years. In 2017, when Couric retired from her on-air career and moved to focus on more project-based work, Fiore took the leap to open Hair House. She’s never looked back.

“We’re very conscious about the work we do here,” says Fiore, who is attentive to her clients’ every whim and concern. Together with her team, she has created an environment that mixes new flair with timeless elements, offering a high-end experience without a pretentious feel.
“No one should be stuck in the same style,” says Fiore. “We’re honest about our clients’ potential and what will work best on them.” In tandem with crafting cuts that are easy to maintain, flattering, and balanced, Fiore focuses on the individual needs of the client — not just what’s overly trendy and expensive.
