Fall fashions are here in Westchester, and these are the looks you’ll want to be shopping and wearing all season long.

From surprisingly simple iterations of the basic white tank to welcome embellishments, like sequins and crystals, the trends of the season — including the accompanying color palettes — are running the gamut. With many designers opting for fresh takes on classics, here are a few of our favorites from the runways and how to style them.

Casual

For a casual look, fall’s trend of classic trench coats and those with a twist (this Max Mara rendition features a soft nappa leather on the sleeves and collar) will keep the stylish dry; sequins elevate any ensemble (Christian Cowan decorated hoodies for his ready-to-wear collection); crystals and headbands adorn as accessories; and shades of green, camel, and cream are ubiquitous.

Sophisticated

For a sophisticated, gala-worthy statement this philanthropy season, take a note from Etro, Givenchy, and Isabel Marant: Opt for an all-black ensemble. Oscar de la Renta’s LBD with a tiered silk faille skirt dons the color and, separately, the femme trend that also dominated runaways (top of mind for TV watchers lately, thanks to shows like Bridgerton).

Fun

Hot pink is red-hot this season, especially in outerwear, but feel free to flaunt this bright shade throughout your wardrobe. While trending last spring, feathers make an appearance for autumn, and pearls — particularly oversize — make a triumphant return to popularity (do classics truly ever go out of style?).
