Enter the new year glowing, in luminous, dewy skin, with the help of Apollo and Artemis Beauty by Equality (apolloandartemisbeauty.com). Mamaroneck resident Laura Lee Botsacos founded the high-end skincare line about a year ago with the intention of appealing to all: “I saw a void in the market, at the time, of skincare that was inclusive of all skin types, and on top of that, clean beauty at a reasonable price.”
Botsacos, who has a background in beauty and business, partnered with her cousin, who has R&D experience, to form the e-commerce label. The collection includes a lightweight, plant-derived face serum, facial mist (packed with peptides, to reduce signs of aging), moisturizing eye cream, and antioxidant-rich vitamin C serum (which contains 20% L-ascorbic acid, the highest concentration allowed on the market, says Botsacos). The products, dressed in sleek packaging, are nontoxic, paraben-, cruelty-, and phthalates-free, and PETA-approved vegan. They are made in the U.S., created with biotechnology, and feature formulas that include fresh fruits and vegetables.

Botsacos explains the brand is “committed to the tenet that everyone is beautiful and we want to help you feel that way.” The products’ high-quality, nutrient-rich ingredients can allow for consistent use, to help foster a youthful glow.
