Augie’s Hosts Golf Outing toBenefit Those with Autism

The owners of Augie’s Prime Cut in Yorktown Heights, Audrey Hochroth and Sal Barone, whose daughter, Niki, was diagnosed with autism 17 years ago, hosted their second annual golf outing to raise money for Autism Speaks.
“I am so happy to see another success in Augie’s Golf Tournament,” said Christie Godowski, Westchester/Fairfield & Greater Hudson Valley Area director for Autism Speaks. “It’s individuals like Sal and Audrey who are changing the lives of those with autism for the better.” The event began at Hollow Brook Golf Club with about 100 golfers, including ex-New York Ranger Nick Fotiu, then moved to Colonial Terrace for a cocktail reception and auction. Approximately $60,000 was raised.
