Arielle Eden, a pop-country singer-songwriter from White Plains, is on the verge of releasing the first single from her debut extended play, Signs and Signals. However, before that’s released, we were able to sit down with Arielle and get a glimpse of her career and how she got to where she is today.

Arielle Eden has been singing her entire life, but it was her time during college that really pushed her love of singing and songwriting over the top. “I was in an acapella group in college and performing regularly had an impact on me,” says Eden. “Toward the end of college, I picked up a guitar and started writing and eventually performing in New York City. I just always loved being a part of music and singing.”

Eden’s singing and songwriting style comes off as pop-country. “I was influenced greatly by both folk-rock music and Top 40,” she says. “I didn’t totally realize what my sound was but my songs “Love’s On The Run” and “Sagittarius” both got compared to early Leann Rimes and Taylor Swift which told me something”.

With four songs and two music videos under her belt, Eden decided it was time to release her own extended play. Not only is she working on this EP in New York, but she is also traveling to Nashville, Tennessee regularly and working with a plethora of producers, songwriters, and musicians. “Until now I have mostly written solo for my own releases but am so enjoying co-writing songs for myself as an artist and for other artists as well.” she reveals.

The first track, which shares the same name as the EP, was co-written and produced by Grammy-nominated producer Forest Glen Whitehead. “I met him [Whitehead] through his educational community Music City Playbook and was lucky to participate in his “Artist Launch Bootcamp” where he worked with 8 artist songwriters,” Eden notes. “We wrote the title track together, and it was mostly written over Zoom, and then I went to Nashville to record vocals in his studio.”

According to Eden, if Signs and Signals was a story, this track would be the final scene. She wants people to see the positives and to “see the signs and signals.” She is set to debut the first track, Signs and Signals, from her debut EP on March 25. The song will be available on all platforms including Apple Music and Spotify. Eden can also be followed on Instagram and Facebook.
