This small, gallery-like space showcases one of the world’s oldest art forms—crystal minerals, the Earth’s natural jewels. Displayed objets d’art include cylindrical votives of honeycomb calcite ($85) and an amethyst plate of rich purple crystals ($8,500). The “stone” part of its name refers to a collection of building slabs including basalt and schist. Also offered: custom stone coffee tables and jewelry. While the two-year-old business has worked with top-end designers and architects, private collectors, and even museums, this is its first retail location.

Located in the heart of Pelham Village, this boutique-like consignment shop launched by resident Kathy Davis Reese and her husband, Frank Reese, is a veritable treasure trove of gently used—or, in many cases, new with tags attached—high-end designer fashions from the houses of Prada, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, etc. The concept behind the store, says Davis Reese, “is loving the designer’s look—but not necessarily the look of the price tag.” Prices are significantly discounted from original retail; we spotted a silk, color-block Gucci dress with a $2,000 tag on it being sold for $499 and Pucci frocks originally retailing for $1,500 to $3,000 marked from $300 to $600.
