April's Outdoor Spring Flings

Spring might not have come early this year like Punxsutawney Phil predicted, but now that it’s finally warming up the real fun can truly begin.

Whether it’s enjoying a pre-concert picnic on Caramoor’s lush grounds or touring magnificent private gardens with the Garden Conservancy, check out the outdoor entertainment Westchester has to offer this season. 

 

Aizuri Quartet
Sunday, April 17

The Aizuri Quartet have held residencies at the Curtis Institute of Music and Ravinia Festival’s Steans Music Institute, and are now hitting Caramoor to offer electrifying performances,  during which they will perform well-known compositions like Beethoven’s String Quartet No. 6.

Sheep-to-Shawl

Brought to you by The Garden Conservancy, the White Garden, completed in 1999, shows off a classically inspired setting, including a nymphaeum, pergola garden, labyrinth, and theater court, and additional hidden gardens include a perennial ellipse and “annual” garden, a conservatory “jungle” garden, and an Asian-inspired moss garden.
