Learn how you can meet and play with the Hall of Fame golfer to benefit the ANNIKA Foundation during an upcoming charity event.
Annika Sorenstam, the greatest female golfer of our generation, will visit Forsgate CC in New Jersey on May 12 to raise money for the ANNIKA Foundation. All attendees will have a chance to meet her, but some lucky golfers will win a chance to play—or even caddie—for her during the day.
Sorenstam started her foundation following a Hall of Fame career that included 89 worldwide wins and 10 majors. Her goal was to develop women’s golf around the world and encourage children to lead healthy, active lifestyles. The ANNIKA Foundation provides opportunities in women’s golf at the junior, collegiate, and professional levels while teaching young people the importance of living a healthy, active lifestyle through fitness and nutrition. She’s partnering with the Forsgate Foundation (Forsgate Country Club’s charitable foundation), to hold this event.
The day begins with breakfast and Q&A with Sorenstam, a golf outing on the historic Forsgate Banks Course where she will visit each foursome during their round, and an afternoon clinic followed by an exhibition match and reception. Opportunities to attend begin at $25. Bids to play or caddie with Sorenstam in the exhibition match can be placed online.
