Animal Remains Raise Suspicions Of Animal Sacrifice

Earlier this week, the New Rochelle Police Department pulled a garbage bag out of the water as they were patrolling the shoreline. To their horror, the bag contained a mutilated goat, five dead birds, some money, and a T-shirt.

The animal remains were not the first to be found in Westchester County. Just weeks ago, seven bags of goats and birds were discovered in Yorktown. Before that, a dead bird wrapped in cloth was found in Mount Vernon.

The most recent incident in New Rochelle has raised suspicions of animal sacrifice and possibly black magic. An occult specialist, or black magic investigator, was brought in by the New Rochelle Police Department in order to examine mysterious written symbols that accompanied the mutilated goat and birds. The specialist’s findings have not been reported, as of yet.

The SPCA was notified of the incident, calling the discovery “heinous, but they are still investigating if it was an act of animal cruelty.”

“For the last three and a half years, we haven’t had any reports of sacrificed animals and then, in a very short period of time, we’ve had three separate incidents,” stated an employee of the SPCA.

Local residents are scared of the threat the discovery could cause to their New Rochelle neighborhood. One frightened resident said, “You never know what kind of people are out there, so we have to be careful.”
