In honor of local women who’ve battled and survived breast cancer, Bloomingdale’s and White Plains Hospital joined together for a night of fashion and fun on October 15. A seat-packed evening fashion show featured contemporary, on-trend looks from mid-priced designers in the store’s Sutton Studio department, including Sanctuary, Michael Kors, Lauren Ralph Lauren, Karen Kane, Vince Camuto, Kenneth Kole, and Calvin Klein, modeled by “pink warriors” (survivors) as well as caretakers and loved ones nominated by former White Plains Hospital patients for their support and service.
Westchester Magazine’s fashion-coverage team, Associate Editor Katie O’Donnell and Deputy Creative Director Halina Sabath, hosted, while a panel of style experts from the labels lent insight about the trends and looks shown, from casual weekend-wear to office-to-dinner ensembles and event-ready dresses. (We added a standout black-and-white print Calvin Klein sweater-coat for $159.50 to our fall shopping list, and took notes of all the faux-leather jackets, leggings, and embellishments.)
Check out all 21 looks from the show (nearly all priced between $75 and $250) here, and find them and more must-have Sutton Studio designs at Bloomingdale’s in White Plains.
