Spa Mantra The focus here is on results, but in a relaxing environment, says owner Bruce Schoenberg. Oasis skincare staff make it their mission to vet new treatments in the skincare world, offering only what proves effective and safe, he says. Anti-aging is top priority here, says director of skincare Christie Lavigne. “We are fighting the good fight, doing everything we can to help our clients look as young as possible for as long as possible,” she adds.
Tech Check Oasis is adding Lymphatic Detox to their menu, which involves an acoustic-drainage machine that emits a sound vibration attenuated to stimulate lymphatic drainage (a natural detoxifying process) and to promote the reparative process of tendons and soft tissue. “I raised an eyebrow at first, too,” admits Schoenberg, “but after a lot of experimentation, we believe in its benefits.” During demos, the visible difference in facial contouring was remarkable, says Lavigne, who also used the machine to relieve her own elbow tendonitis.
About Face Facials here are boosted in efficacy by the ELEMIS Biotec apparatus, says Lavigne, which offers a variety of modalities, including flows of oxygen, different frequencies of electric current, ultrasound waves, and LED light through handheld wands to exfoliate, nourish, and tighten the skin.
Specials Menu Oasis offers seasonal treatments that address timely needs. Right now, the focus will be on boosting radiance with “special event” or pre-party facials, combating the dulling effects of “forced air inside and extreme cold weather,” says Lavigne
