It’s time to get pampered at Aethics Med Spa, a beauty and wellness hotspot located in downtown White Plains.
Love a good spa day? You’re in luck at Aethics Med Spa, a new spa in White Plains that offers everything from salt facials to IV hydration. For Westchesterites new to the med spa world, Aethics is just as much of an educational resource as it is a hub for beauty and wellness. It’s based on the belief that all medical procedures, especially aesthetic procedures, should be performed for the right reasons and on the right patient.
Aethics Med Spa held its ribbon-cutting ceremony on December 8 in Westchester. The med spa is led by three veteran entrepreneurs who practice in the aesthetic medicine industry. Chief Medical Officer Dr. Thomas Romo III and co-founders Hana Rukaj and Jacquelyn Orena hope to set themselves and the spa apart from other local providers. In addition to boasting a combined 50 years of experience in the field, they approach the med spa with a unique focus on “blending ethical principles with aesthetic practices.”
For those new to med spas, a medical spa is defined by the The American Med Spa Association as a hybrid between an aesthetic medical center and a day spa. A couple services the White Plains will provide are dermal fillers, salt facials, Ultherapy, Morpheus8, and weight wellness, along with other services that will be tailored to the customer’s needs. For the spa’s owners, the overall goal is to help each patient look and feel their best.
Speaking of the people behind the spa, Dr. Thomas Romo III is a respected facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon who is double board-certified. His years of work earned him the reputation as one of the top facial plastic surgeons in New York City. Dr. Romo also founded Little Baby Face Foundation, which helps to transform the faces of children who were born with facial defects. The foundation has helped to improve the faces and lives of over 500 children.
Co-founder Jacquelyn Orena, a beauty veteran and social influencer better known as Jackie O, has been in the industry for over 15 years. She has a keen eye for all the latest quality products being released. As for Hana Rukaj, this isn’t her first rodeo either. She’s a seasoned entrepreneur and has opened multiple successful businesses in the spa, beauty, and fitness industries. She has focused on developing products and services for the medical spa space.
Together, the three look forward to making Aethics a staple in the White Plains community. With services ranging from injectables and Ultherapy to contouring, skin tightening, IV therapy, and more, there’s something for every sort of beauty aficionado at the med spa.
